We had a nice departure from Ensenada complete with a going-away party and lots of goodbyes.
After 4 days in Yuma resting and re-packing we are hitting the road again. Today we set off for Queretaro. We should get there by the 30th or the 31st.
Guess what!?! Jorge shaved his mustache off last night! The first time in almost 20 years! I'll try to post a photo soon.
Gotta run...on the road again...

Happy Birthday Melissa!

Check out my niece, Melissa Nicole! She just turned 12 years old on August 14th! Wow, I can't believe how grown up she is...it seems like yesterday she was just a tiny thing toddling around, learning to walk! Melissa is my brother, Kurt's, daughter and they live in Colorado.

Help from our Congressman
Yesterday we had an appointment at our Congressman's office in Yuma, AZ (about 5 hours from Ensenada). We are grateful that they took an interest in our case and have agreed to try to help us by intervening in Jorge's immigration situation. This all takes time and for now we just have to wait but we pray that all goes well and that we can get some good news soon.
