Some photos...

This is downtown Queretaro...it is a beautiful colonial city with lots of history. The whole metropolitan area is home to about 1 million people. This month Mexico celebrates it´s Independance Day on Sept. 16th, that´s why you see all the Mexican flags and patriotic memorabilia; they are sold especially during the month of September.

Jorge and I hanging out at the park in downtown Queretaro...this is one of my favorite things to do, get icecream and sit in the park...relaxing, people-watching...

Jorge´s youngest sister, Leticia, posing in downtown Queretaro.

Our friend, Pepe Zavala from Ensenada, spent a week with us in Queretaro.

Happy Birthday Mamita!

Jorge reads a Birthday Card to his Mom. (Notice Jorge´s mustache is gone!! I haven´t been able to get any other pictures of that yet but this gives you the idea! He´s letting it grow back now though.)
