Jorge's Job at Elon University

Jorge was very blessed to find a temporary full-time job in the Grounds-keeping department at Elon University while we were home for our sabbatical.  He worked there for 4 months over the spring and summer and really enjoyed the low-stress job, being outside in nature, and the camaraderie with his co-workers.  Elon is very well-known for having a beautiful campus and grounds and Jorge was proud to be able to be a part of the team that helped make that a reality.

 Jorge was very blessed when on his last day of work his department organized a farewell cook-out in his honor!  

 Leaving his job was bitter-sweet.

The grounds-keeping department has about 18 full-time employees.
